Remarkable Letters — Outstanding Performances

Shaun Usher’s Letters of Note is an extraordinary collection of remarkable correspondence written by fascinating people.

In Usher’s collection, which now spans 3 volumes, are letters that delight, surprise, shock, inspire and astonish, from Russell Brand’s cheeky letter to Father Christmas to the heartbreaking suicide note of poet Sylvia Plath.

The evocative nature of the letters and their emotional power lend themselves naturally to performance and so Letters Live was born.

First established in the UK, Letters Live sees Letters of Note brought to life by some of the world’s most celebrated performers in front of a live audience.

Previous events have seen the likes of Oscar Isaac, Colin Firth, Caitlin Moran, Matt Berry, Thandie Newton, Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston grace the stage and now, for the first time, Letters Live is heading to the US.

On February 26th Letters Live will make its US debut at The Ace Hotel in Los Angeles with a fundraiser for 826LA and Women for Women International (tickets).

Follow Letters Live on Vero for a ringside seat on the 26th.
