Suli Breaks is a London-based spoken word poet whose hard-hitting, poignant and thought-provoking themes and his innovative word play have earned him a well-deserved reputation as a poet and performer. His work tackles vital and controversial topics such as racism, religion, education and beauty in fresh accessible ways.

“Not A Role Model” (NARM) is his latest work. It’s a series where Suli takes his audience on a metaphorical bus journey through his life, as he talks about the challenges and positives of growing up in inner city London, falling in London and overcoming adversity on the path to success.

“The best therapy is to leave everything on stage.”
